Juliana Gómez is a Colombian-born creative director, visual storyteller, and cultural consultant based in Amsterdam. With a background in cultural and social psychology and over a decade of experience in photography and filmmaking, her work sits at the intersection of image, concept, and cultural research crafting visual narratives that are both thoughtful and emotionally resonant.

No Water For Whales is her personal creative platform and the core expression of her interdisciplinary practice. Through it, Juliana directs and produces projects across photography, film, editorial, and creative direction, bringing every collaboration under a single, cohesive vision. Each project reflects her perspective, process, and commitment to concept-driven storytelling.

Beyond her own productions, Juliana collaborates with institutions, brands, and cultural platforms, shaping narratives, developing visual strategies, and leading creative direction. Juliana is also the co-founder and editor-in-chief of YUCA Magazine, an independent publication that merges art, photography, culture, and literature. Each issue is built around a conceptual alibi, inviting contributors and readers to reflect on cultural constructs and personal identity through visual and written expression.
